Nelson Mashizha

Senior Partner

Nelson Mashizha is a Legal Practitioner, Notary Public and Conveyancer. He is also an Estate Administrator, Corporate Rescue Practitioner as well as a Patent and Trademarks Agent. Nelson is the Founding Partner of the firm, which he founded in 2015. Nelson was trained by the biggest black owned law firm in Zimbabwe Messrs Dube, Manikai and Hwacha Commercial Lawyers where he was firmly grounded in all aspects of Commercial Law such as Corporate and Financial Services, Corporate Secretarial Practice, Trade and Investment Law, Labour Law, Civil Litigation, Conveyancing and Notarial Practice.He was later appointed a Partner at Messrs Takundwa and Company Corporate Lawyers which he then left in 2015 to establish the present law firm. Nelson has practical experience and specialisation in Tax Advisory and Tax Dispute Resolution, Commercial law, conveyancing, Notarial Practice,Property Development and Construction law, mining law, labour law, Civil Litigation, insolvency Law as well in as estate planning. He is a keen Golfer.

Philemon Mutukwa

Philemon Mutukwa is a Legal Practitioner and Notary Public. He is a Senior Partner at Mashizha, Mutukwa & Sambo Attorneys. He holds a masters from the University of Zimbabwe in Constitutional and Electoral Law. Philemon started off his practice at Sachikonye – ushe in 2014 and later joined Messrs Musengi and Sigauke in 2015 up to 2019 which is a full service Law Firm which has strengthened itself in the area of Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Conveyancing, Civil Litigation, marital disputes, Labour Law and Consultancy Work for companies, regulatory bodies and associates. Philemon is a keen litigator in the superior Courts of Zimbabwe such as the High Court, Supreme Court, Commercial Court, Administrative Court as well as the Labour Court.

Michael Sambo

Managing Partner

Michael Sambo is the Managing Partner of the firm. He is a Legal Practitioner, Conveyancer and Notary Public.He is a holder of a masters in corporate law. Prior to joining the firm, Mike was the Secretary General of the Zimbabwe Medical, Professional and Allied Trade Union where he was representing all employees in the Medical and Allied Industry in all employment related matters. Mike is currently the Vice Chairman on the National Employment Council for the Medical and Allied Industry. Mike has wealth of experience in collective bargaining, lobby and advocacy. Mike currently specialises in Conveyancing, Notarial Practice, Corporate Advisory, Commercial Arbitration, Debt Collection, Deceased Estates as well as Civil Litigation.
